Waiting....Waiting....

So.... We are patiently...and not so patiently still waiting for our little bundle of joy to arrive. We went to the Doctor on Friday for a Non-Stress Test and the measured Shay's movement and my contractions and said everything looked fine with me and the baby. We are going to the Doctor today for an ultrasound to check and make sure that fluid levels are okay. We have scheduled an induction for Thursday night (the 17th) but we are really hoping that he decides to show up before!! I am getting rather restless since I stopped working last Thursday in anticipation of his arrival. Chad has still been working, but is on call to leave when the time arrives. We will keep everyone updated as the time gets closer.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day yesterday with both mine and Chad's families :) Chad took some awesome pictures with our new camera! Thanks to both our parents, Jenn and Doug and Lainey and Mort for the great early Christmas gift! We can't wait to capture some pictures of our new bundle when he arrives. Chad had fun getting the kids to make faces at him on the trampoline.

We had some AMAZING food and GREAT TIMES with all of the family!! We are just a few days from Seamus joining all the craziness!!

Friday Dr. Visit

We had our 38 week appointment at the Dr. on Friday ( the 20th). He said that everything is progressing as they should. It is amazing to think that we are just 2 weeks away from his due date. Chad had a night out with the boys last night and I went out with my roommate from college. Today we looked at a house that we really liked online, if only we could get someone to come look at our house!! We also went to lunch with my parents and grandparents, everyone was trying to decide what they want to be called when Seamus gets here... it made for interesting conversation :) We are just waiting now for our new bundles arrival :) Can't wait to hold him!!!

Christmas Shopping

It's that time of year again! We are working on getting all of our Christmas shopping done and getting it all wrapped. We expect to be slightly more distracted this year so no Christmas Eve shopping for us! It feels really good to get things out of the way. I hope I am still feeling okay and can possibly do some Black Friday shopping, just to see if there are any good deals out there! We know that our baby is going to be the best gift we will receive! Only 18 days left until D-Day :)

Getting Closer

We are quickly approaching Seamus' due date and I am beginning to wonder if we are really ready...or if we will ever be :) We have finished up the last bits of the nursery. We bought some letters to spell out Seamus' name and Chad has painted them and hung them up! I cannot wait for the semester to wrap up! I only have 3 weeks of classes left (and about 3 1/2 weeks until Seamus' due date). We have started our Christmas shopping since waiting isn't really an option this year!! I have also started making some hats and other fun stuff for Christmas gifts and just for fun. I will get some pictures up of them as soon as I can. Chad and I are both looking into selling our cars for cars that are a bit bigger... We love our cars, we have found they just don't fit car seats so comfortably :) We also still have our house on the market and are hoping that traffic will pick up after the first of the year. I can't believe how fast time has passed and that we are so close to getting to hold our baby boy.

Less than 5 Weeks....

The weeks have flown by and we are now just under 5 weeks until Seamus is due! I had a baby shower on Halloween and I got more than I could have ever imagined. We are so grateful everything that we have received. We are putting the finishing touches on the nursery: Chad has been working hard to make sure everything has a place. He has also found the panorama function on the computer :) I started washing all of the new clothes we have received and next we are going to sterilize bottles, pacifiers and all that other fun stuff! I will try to keep updating more over the next few weeks and we will for sure get pictures up of our baby boy when he arrives :)
