32 Weeks Pregnant

Wow! 32 weeks pregnant only 8 more to go! Starting to get more tired as the days fly by. Between work and school I am trying to get in as much sleep as possible before our little Seamus arrives!! I can't wait to see his sweet face and hold him! We love him so much already!

We are getting all of the finishing touches done in his room. I am having a baby shower at the end of October and I can't wait to spend sometime with friends before our little bundle arrives!! Life has changed so much already and it is only going to change more!! We can't wait.

Last Night

We had a 100 year old oak tree fall last night. We are so thankful that it did not hit any part of the house. It fell across the driveway while it was raining last night. I was sleeping and didn't even hear it fall!! Chad came and woke me up. The fire department came and cut some of the limbs so that we would get one car out if needed. Hopefully someone will be here today to cut it all up and take it away!! What a crazy night!

Birthing Class

We took a birthing class this weekend. It was very informative and we learned a lot about all the crazy things that will happen as we approach delivery time. There were only 3 other couples in the class, which was nice, it allowed everyone to be comfortable and not feel so silly doing all of the breathing and comfort techniques. I think that the class really helped Chad, so that he won't be worried about the stages of labor. For anyone else expecting I would recommend taking at least one birthing class, especially to help the hubby :)

When it rains it POURS!

This week has been crazy! The rain in Georgia reached a maximum at start of the week. The result of all the rain...one wet basement. We were very fortunate to not have as much damage as many around our area. On top of that, Chad developed a kidney stone midway through the week. Luckily for him it has since passed and he is feeling MUCH better! Sometimes when it rains it pours I guess :) After making through Wednesday they week has gotten much better, we are so glad that the weekend is finally here! Seamus is now 30 weeks along, only 10 more to go! And we are getting into gear, getting everything together for his arrival and making sure all the water is out of our basement so we don't get any mold. This week has really shown us how blessed we are and that God has a plan for us. Our prayers go out to all those who suffered severe damage to their homes and or businesses.

We are taking a birthing class next weekend and are very excited. It will be a wonderful time for us to bond with each other and baby Seamus (as well as have some good laughs).

Lazy Saturday

We had an awesome Saturday today! It is so wonderful to spend the day together doing nothing and then get to go visit with some of our family. We went to visit the Sherens last night and see adorable little Mia. I can't believe we only have 11 weeks left until our little Seamus is here!! It seems so far away but I know the time is going to fly by!! Saturdays in the Fall are some of the best! It really is the only time we can both lay on the couch watch tv (Generally Football) and not get upset that NOTHING aroung the house is getting done. Should be getting some pictures on here very soon!
