Waiting....Waiting....

So.... We are patiently...and not so patiently still waiting for our little bundle of joy to arrive. We went to the Doctor on Friday for a Non-Stress Test and the measured Shay's movement and my contractions and said everything looked fine with me and the baby. We are going to the Doctor today for an ultrasound to check and make sure that fluid levels are okay. We have scheduled an induction for Thursday night (the 17th) but we are really hoping that he decides to show up before!! I am getting rather restless since I stopped working last Thursday in anticipation of his arrival. Chad has still been working, but is on call to leave when the time arrives. We will keep everyone updated as the time gets closer.

32 Weeks Pregnant

Wow! 32 weeks pregnant only 8 more to go! Starting to get more tired as the days fly by. Between work and school I am trying to get in as much sleep as possible before our little Seamus arrives!! I can't wait to see his sweet face and hold him! We love him so much already!

We are getting all of the finishing touches done in his room. I am having a baby shower at the end of October and I can't wait to spend sometime with friends before our little bundle arrives!! Life has changed so much already and it is only going to change more!! We can't wait.

When it rains it POURS!

This week has been crazy! The rain in Georgia reached a maximum at start of the week. The result of all the rain...one wet basement. We were very fortunate to not have as much damage as many around our area. On top of that, Chad developed a kidney stone midway through the week. Luckily for him it has since passed and he is feeling MUCH better! Sometimes when it rains it pours I guess :) After making through Wednesday they week has gotten much better, we are so glad that the weekend is finally here! Seamus is now 30 weeks along, only 10 more to go! And we are getting into gear, getting everything together for his arrival and making sure all the water is out of our basement so we don't get any mold. This week has really shown us how blessed we are and that God has a plan for us. Our prayers go out to all those who suffered severe damage to their homes and or businesses.

We are taking a birthing class next weekend and are very excited. It will be a wonderful time for us to bond with each other and baby Seamus (as well as have some good laughs).
